Dr. Sabido completed his undergraduate degree from the accelerated 7 year B.S./M.D. Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CUNY where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 1987. Furthering his education he then received his Medical Degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1989 with a Rubin Biomedical Scholarship. He graduated NYU School of Medicine at the age of 23 giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree he completed his general surgery residency with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School followed by a general surgery residency with Staten Island University Hospital, where he graduated and was named Chief Surgical resident in 1996. Dr. Sabido is certified by the American Board of Surgery and certified as a Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Certification. Dr. Sabido currently practices at his private practice as well as the Division Chief and Fellowship Program Director in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at Richmond University Medical Center and Director of the Center for Robotic Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center. Dr. Sabido is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Health Network.
